You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Kenya with an active M-Pesa-registered phone number.

Tap "Get Started" or "Register", fill in your name, email, and M-Pesa number (or continue with Google), and you're ready to browse gigs immediately.

Four main categories: Chat & Reply Jobs, Survey Jobs, Customer Service, and Translation Jobs. New gig categories are added regularly as more businesses partner with us.

Most beginners earn between KSh 800 and KSh 1,500 per day, depending on how many gigs they complete. Earnings vary by task type and complexity.

Most gigs take 5–20 minutes. Survey and translation tasks can vary depending on length and complexity.

No daily cap. You can complete as many available gigs as you qualify for and have time to do — more completed gigs means more earnings.

Every completed and verified gig adds to your Phonepesa balance. Once you hit the KSh 200 minimum, you can withdraw instantly via M-Pesa STK Push straight to your phone.

KSh 200. Once your balance reaches this amount, you can request a withdrawal at any time from your dashboard.

Phonepesa does not charge a withdrawal fee. Standard M-Pesa/Safaricom transaction charges may apply, as with any M-Pesa transfer.

Withdrawals are processed via M-Pesa STK Push, and most payments land in your phone within minutes of approval.

New accounts go through a quick background check, typically completed within 24–48 hours, to keep the platform safe for everyone. You can browse gigs and apply during this time, but can't start working until verification clears.

Go to the login page and tap "Forgot password?" — we'll send you a reset link by email.

Yes, update it any time from the "My Profile" tab on your dashboard. Future withdrawals will go to the new number.

No. We never see or store your M-Pesa PIN. Your phone number is only used to initiate STK Push payments to you.
